Bluey Has Arrived at Disney's Animal Kingdom 🌳

Bluey Has Arrived at Disney's Animal Kingdom — Here's Everything Families Need to Know

If your kids have ever shouted "For real life?!" while watching Bluey, then Walt Disney World just became even more magical.

One of the most anticipated additions to Walt Disney World Resort has officially arrived at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Bluey and her sister Bingo are now welcoming guests to Bluey's Wild World at Conservation Station, creating an interactive experience that combines play, dancing, character encounters, and Disney's commitment to animal conservation.

As a travel advisor, I've already had several families ask about Bluey at Disney World, so here's everything you need to know before your next vacation.

Where Is Bluey Located?

Bluey's Wild World is located inside Conservation Station at Rafiki's Planet Watch in Disney's Animal Kingdom.

To reach the experience, guests must board the Wildlife Express Train from the Africa section of the park. Once you arrive, you'll discover an immersive Bluey-themed area featuring interactive activities inspired by the beloved Australian television series.

What Can Families Experience?

Bluey's Wild World is much more than a traditional character meet-and-greet.

Families can:

  • Dance and play with Bluey and Bingo

  • Participate in interactive games inspired by favorite episodes

  • Enjoy "Keepy Uppy" style activities with an animal-themed twist

  • Take photos with Bluey and Bingo

  • Learn about animals native to Australia

  • Explore special themed areas including Jumping Junction, which highlights Australian wildlife and conservation efforts

The experience fits perfectly within Animal Kingdom's mission of celebrating animals, nature, and conservation while giving younger guests a chance to interact with one of the most beloved children's characters in the world.

Current Wait Times and Virtual Queue Information

This is where families need to pay close attention.

Unlike many attractions at Walt Disney World, Bluey's Wild World initially launched using a Virtual Queue system, meaning there is no traditional standby line during the opening period.

How the Virtual Queue Works

Guests can join the virtual queue through the My Disney Experience app at:

7:00 AM

  • You do NOT need to be inside Animal Kingdom

  • Valid park admission is required

10:00 AM

  • You MUST already be inside Disney's Animal Kingdom

  • Available only if spots remain after the 7:00 AM distribution

Because Disney is using a virtual queue, there are currently no posted standby wait times like you would see for Expedition Everest or Kilimanjaro Safaris. Instead, guests receive a boarding group and are notified when it's their turn to visit.

Important Update

Disney has already announced that the virtual queue is temporary. Beginning June 2, 2026, Bluey's Wild World is expected to transition to a traditional standby queue. At that point, guests will begin seeing posted wait times in the My Disney Experience app just like other attractions.

Given Bluey's popularity, it's reasonable to expect significant waits during the initial summer season, especially during school vacations and holiday periods.

Is Bluey Worth the Effort?

For families with young children, absolutely.

Bluey has become a global phenomenon because it appeals to both children and parents. Disney has created an experience that feels authentic to the show's heart while fitting naturally into Animal Kingdom's educational mission.

The combination of:

  • Character interactions

  • Active play opportunities

  • Educational animal experiences

  • Interactive storytelling

makes this one of the most family-friendly additions Walt Disney World has introduced in recent years.

Tips for Visiting Bluey's Wild World

Arrive with a Plan

If you're visiting before June 2, make sure you're familiar with the virtual queue process before your travel day.

Have My Disney Experience Ready

Ensure everyone in your travel party is linked in the app before 7:00 AM.

Visit Animal Kingdom Early

Even if you secure the 7:00 AM virtual queue, arriving early allows you to enjoy popular attractions like:

  • Kilimanjaro Safaris

  • Na'vi River Journey

  • Expedition Everest

  • Dinosaur (while it remains open)

before heading to Bluey's Wild World.

Combine It with Rafiki's Planet Watch

Many guests overlook this area of the park, but it offers:

  • Veterinary demonstrations

  • Animal care exhibits

  • Conservation experiences

  • Educational opportunities for children

Adding Bluey gives families even more reason to explore this often-overlooked corner of Animal Kingdom.

We love this part of the park and getting there is half the fun- take a break and explore ❤️

Bluey's Wild World is quickly becoming one of the hottest family experiences at Walt Disney World Resort. Whether your little one dreams of meeting Bluey and Bingo or simply loves active, interactive play, this new addition is sure to become a must-do on Animal Kingdom days.
